Tooth-Colored Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings, also known as white fillings, can effectively restore decayed teeth as well as replace older, unsightly metal fillings. They are commonly used to improve a tooth’s infrastructure, and can even change the shape or size of a tooth.tooth-colored-fillings

What Are the Benefits of Tooth-Colored Fillings?
How are Tooth-Colored Fillings Applied?

The procedure is much like the old gray amalgun filling with two important differences. The composite resin is metal and mercury free and your new filling is bonded to the tooth rather that being packed into the cavity. For this reason, white fillings can often be applied without the need of a numbing agent. Once your tooth is free of decay, a primer is applied to ready your tooth for the new filling. The bonding agent is then applied and cured, at which time the filling material can be applied to your tooth. The hardening process only takes a matter of seconds, and your new filling is ready to go.

Why Choose Tooth-Colored Fillings?

As one of the most effective and convenient means of repairing tooth damage caused by decay or sudden injury, white feelings are an ideal solution to give you a stunning, healthy smile.
